meet me at the corner

I remember the corner
the corner of your colour
the corner of your smile
the corner where we kissed
the corner of your smile
the street corners turning into the corners of the corridor
into the corners of the room where we lay
the corners of your mouth
of your eyes
the corners of words we didn't finish
the corner of your name
on the corner where we parted.

It is at the edge of a petal that love waits

"What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity. These are but trifles, to be sure; but scattered along life's pathway, the good they do is inconceivable."
— Joseph Addison

"the earth laughs in flowers."
— e.e. cummings

"it would be lovely to sleep in a wild cherry-tree all white with bloom in the moonshine"
— L.M. Montgomery

"Flowers gathered in the morning,
Afternoon they blossom on,
Still are withered in the evening,
You can be me when I'm gone."
— Neil Gaiman
